All student and account data are stored on self-hosted, secured databases managed by JD Chess.
Transactional and booking-related emails are sent through Resend.com, an external email delivery service that processes messages solely for communication purposes on our behalf.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, or alteration of your data.


5. Cookies

Our websites currently do not use cookies or tracking pixels.
However, this may change in the future to improve functionality or analytics.
If cookies are introduced, we will update this policy accordingly and, where required, request your consent.
Some external services we link to (such as payment or booking providers) may already set their own cookies; their policies apply independently.


6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide our coaching services or comply with legal requirements.

The JD Chess mobile app allows users to access the booking calendar and related website features from their mobile device.
The app does not collect any additional personal data beyond what is necessary to create and confirm lesson bookings (such as name, email, and selected time slot).
It does not display or synchronize full student schedules.
All data are processed and stored securely on the same self-hosted systems as our website.
We do not use in-app analytics, push notifications, or tracking technologies.
